Wayne County sheriff’s deputies have closed a portion of Route 31F in Macedon, Wayne County, after a vehicle reportedly entered a nearby pond early Wednesday morning.
A stretch of Route 31F – between Canandaigua and Wilcox roads – and the southern end of Hance Road – was closed to motorists on the morning of Sept. 24, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
News outlets reported that a woman called 911 for help around 4 a.m., after her car entered the water. According to reports, the 911 call abruptly ended and that a vehicle was submerged.
