Authorities identify 16 victims killed in AES explosion in Bucksnort community

Authorities have released the names of the 16 people killed in the explosion at Accurate Energetic Explosives in Hickman County early Oct. 10.

The news came during a press briefing outside the company gates Oct. 13. Sheriffs Chris Davis, of Humphreys County, and Jason Craft, of Hickman County, alternated reading the victims’ names.

The victims are:

“We still have a lot of things inside the scene that are active,” Davis said, noting they are still moving at a snail’s pace.
