Day care worker arrested after allegedly forcing siblings to fight, throw chairs at each other

A Georgia day care worker was arrested after allegedly forcing two young siblings to brawl and beat each other with chairs, according to authorities and reports.
Riffat Tahmin Khalil, an employee at Discovery Zone Kids in Evans, was caught on camera allegedly making the youngsters, ages 9 and 6, fight each other after one child kicked the other to the ground, WJBF reported.

After the kid knocked down their sibling, Khalil allegedly grabbed one of them, violently swung them into a chair, and began shaking them vigorously, troubling footage reviewed by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office showed.
Khalil then allegedly prompted one of the siblings to hit the other with a chair, WRDW reported.
The brawl only ended after another teacher intervened and removed one of the kids from the room, the outlet said.
Khalil was arrested last Monday after the children told their parents “the teacher Ms. Khalil made them fight,” according to an incident report obtained by the outlet.

She was immediately fired after the day care reviewed the security footage, WJBF reported.
Khail is currently held in the Columbia County Jail on three counts of cruelty to children. Her bond has been set to $75,300, court records show.
