A family of bears caught a group of skiers off guard by dashing across the slopes at a North Lake Tahoe resort.
Wild footage showed the trio of bears trampling across the slopes at Northstar Ski Resort in Truckee Wednesday as more than a dozen skiers and snowboarders whizzed along.
Someone in the clip could be hard yelling “stop!” and “get out of there” to the skiers as the larger bear and two smaller cubs ran past.

“We thought they were humans at first,” the man who shot the video, Barclay Weyhrauch, told ABC7News. “Then we thought they were big dogs, then everyone realized they were bears and everyone started yelling ‘stop!’”
Just as quickly as the beasts appeared, they disappeared into powder along the edge of the slope.
The Northstar ski resort is located in prime black bear habitat, Bakersfield now reported.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife said it was looking into the close call.
