For years, gutless bureaucrats in Europe and at the United Nations have been begging Iran’s ayatollahs to play nice.
They sat in fancy Geneva hotels, hoping to bribe a fanatical regime into giving up its nukes — even as recently as this past week.
On Saturday, the United States and Israel finally ended that pathetic charade.
We didn’t drop a few warning bombs on empty sand dunes.
We went straight for the head of the snake.
In a massive joint daylight strike, codenamed “Shield of Judah” by Israel and “Operation Epic Fury” by the US, our forces hammered Tehran.
Our pilots targeted Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s own compound, leaving it heavily damaged.
We targeted the terrorist masterminds, their ballistic missile bases and the naval capabilities they use to hold the world hostage.
And how did the “enlightened” international community react to us taking out the world’s biggest bullies?
They threw a tantrum.
Within hours, European leaders were demanding we stop the fighting and go back to the negotiating table.
Give me a break.
These are the same cowards who stayed dead silent while the Iranian regime brutally cracked down on its own people during recent nationwide protests.
They are perfectly happy to let Iran build a nuclear bomb, as long as it buys them a little temporary quiet.
We’ve seen this movie before. In 1938, the world tried to appease a genocidal maniac in Munich.
We all know how that ended.
The Jewish people learned the hardest lesson in human history: When a dictator promises to wipe you off the map, you don’t invite him to a summit.
You stop him cold.
Today, Israel is not the helpless, stateless Jewish population of the 1940s.
We have a lethal military, and we aren’t waiting around for the UN to rescue us.
We are incredibly grateful that President Donald Trump and the American military stood shoulder to shoulder with us to do the dirty work the rest of the world was too scared to do.
Trump was absolutely right to tell the Iranian people that this is their chance to “take over your government” and seize their freedom.
By crippling Iran’s terror machine, Israel and America aren’t just protecting Jerusalem; we are protecting New York, London, and the rest of the free world.
Yes, the Ayatollahs will try to lash out, and they have already fired retaliatory missiles across the Middle East.
The global elites will complain if gas prices tick up.
But a bump at the pump is a lot cheaper than letting a radical Islamic death cult get its hands on a nuclear warhead.
The adults are finally back in the room.
The era of appeasing terrorists is dead and buried.
