Trump says voter ID laws will save GOP in midterms — slams Schumer over opposition: ‘Registered as a Palestinian’ 

President Trump took aim at Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) Monday over his opposition to voter ID legislation.

“What a horrible politician,” Trump said of Schumer, after noting the New York Democrat is against the SAVE America Act. 

“He is now a Palestinian. Officially, he is registered as a Palestinian,” the president joked.
