Body recovered in search for University of Alabama student James Gracey missing in Barcelona: reports
A body was recovered from the Mediterranean sea yards from where missing University of Alabama student James Gracey went missing while on spring break in Barcelona.
Gracey, 20, of Elmhurst, Illinois, was last seen in video surveillance footage leaving a nightclub around 3 a.m. Tuesday.
A Spanish dive team searching the waters yards from the club found a body just off the shore near Port Olímpic, La Vanguardia reported.
The outlet also reported that Gracey’s father, who traveled to the popular destination to search for his son, has been notified, and foul play has been ruled out.
