Labrinth declared he’s “done with” the music industry in a scathing Instagram statement blasting his record label and “Euphoria.”
The artist, who composed the entire score for the show’s first two seasons, posted an all-caps statement over a black background Thursday evening.
“I’m done with this industry,” the 37-year-old told his followers. “F–k Columbia. Double f–k ‘Euphoria.’ I’m out.”
He concluded, “Thank you and goodnight.”
Labrinth did not caption the cryptic upload, and the Emmy winner’s fans encouraged him to reconsider, with singer Skylar Grey writing, “Please don’t stop making music the world needs you.”
One viewer added, “You are literally the face of ‘Euphoria,’ please don’t do this to us king,” while another claimed, “‘Euphoria’ ain’t s–t without you and so be it. Their loss.”
Reps for Labrinth, HBO and creator Sam Levinson have yet to respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The series — which stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney and more stars — premiered in 2019.
Season 2 dropped three years later.
Not only do Labrinth’s songs make up the majority of the show’s soundtrack, but the Grammy nominee also played a church singer during Rue Bennett’s (Zendaya) drug-induced hallucination.
The third installment of “Euphoria” is scheduled to drop in April after numerous delays, with the first look making headlines in January.
In the trailer, Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, is engaged to marry Elordi’s character, Nate Jacobs, while working as an OnlyFans-style creator.
As for Zendaya’s character, she is caught between two drug kingpins in the teaser.
Season 3 features a five-year time jump, which creator Sam Levinson addressed at a December 2025 HBO event, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“We can’t go back to high school — although many, many shows have had 30-year-old high school students, we’re not [doing that],” he said at the time. “Five years felt like a natural place, because if they had gone to college, they’d be out of college at that time.”
