Gwyneth Paltrow’s Iranian business partner tears into Dems for slamming Trump’s Tehran bombings: ‘Wake up!’

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Iranian business partner has slammed her fellow Democrats for attacking President Trump’s airstrikes on Iran, saying how “incredibly disappointed” she is in the party.

Moj Mahdara, 48, an Iranian-American who co-founded Kinship Ventures with Paltrow, 53, compared the “decapitating” of the Islamic regime in Tehran to the fall of the Berlin Wall.

“It is imperative the Democratic Party wake up and get past their dislike of President Trump,” said Mahdara, who described herself as a “massive Democrat,” during an interview on CNN Saturday evening.

In the wake of Saturday’s US-Israel airstrikes, which killed both Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, many Democrats — including New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Minnesota Rep. Rashida Tlaib — denounced the military action.

Mahdara said it’s “imperative the Democratic Party waker up and get past their dislike of President Trump.” CNN

LA-based Mahdara, who co-founded the Iranian Diaspora Collective, hailed the airstrikes and called on her fellow liberals to “trust the Iranian people,” who have taken to the country’s streets to celebrate the attacks.

“This is about national security. This is about what is possible in the Middle East. This is about being a good partner to the Gulf States and what their aspirations are,” she said, while pointing out that regime change in Iran could mean a faster end to the conflict in Ukraine, where Russia’s forces have pummelled civilians with Iranian-made drones.

“You want to support the people of Ukraine? You want to end that war? There is no getting around dismembering this Islamic Republic,” said Mahdara, who is married to academic and screenwriter Roya Rastegar.

“I think you have to trust the Iranian people. We know this government better than anyone else. When you dismember and decapitate this regime, you are going to see a change in the Middle East, in Venezuela, in China, [and] in Ukraine,” she said, reminding her fellow liberals that China is extremely reliant on sanction-busting Iranian crude oil.

“We have a tremendous opportunity. This will be like ending the Soviet Union, the Berlin Wall. This is a transformational moment for humankind, for security, and, as an American, this is in our interest to complete it,” Mahdara said.

“I am a Democrat. I have been a huge Democrat. I am incredibly disappointed with my party. I do not see myself in them at this moment,” she added.

Mahdara’s business partner, Paltrow, was previously attacked by some on the left after she expressed support for the Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas during the Oct. 7 attacks.

“Marty Supreme” star Paltrow signed the open letter titled “No Hostage Left Behind” in October 2023, calling for the immediate release of every Israeli held captive in Gaza.

She has also been vocal about sexual violence carried out by Hamas against female hostages, sharing an Instagram story asking, “Where are the feminists?” accompanied by the hashtag “#rapeisnotresistance.”

Amid December 2022’s anti-government protests in Iran, Paltrow also hosted a dedicated episode of her show, “The Goop Podcast,” titled “A Women-Led Iranian Revolution,” encouraging her audience to listen to Iranian women on the ground.
