Hegseth says Iran war has ‘only just begun’ — but Islamic Republic is ‘toast and they know it’
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has warned that the US-Israeli bombing campaign against Iran has “only just begun.”
“We’re playing for keeps,” he told reporters at the Pentagon. “Our war fighters have maximum authorities, granted personally by the president, and yours truly.”
“It’s very early, and as President Trump has said, we will take all the time we need to make sure that we succeed.”
