Palestinian health authorities said at least 13 people were killed, including seven children, in an Israeli strike as they tried to collect drinking water in al-Mawasi — the area the Israeli military directed Palestinians to go to that same day, promising access to water, food and medicine. The Israeli military told NBC News that it had no record of strikes in the area of al-Mawasi that day.
