Rookie Jets quarterback Brady Cook tossed his first touchdown Sunday against the Jaguars in his first start.
At a first-and-goal on Jacksonville’s 9-yard line, Cook found wide receiver Adonai Mitchell in the end zone to put the Jets on the board, 14-7.

He went 6-for-6 for 51 yards.
Cook, an undrafted free agent out of Missouri, was named the Jets’ starting quarterback this week after starter Tyrod Taylor injured his groin.

The Jets (3-10) trailed the Jaguars (9-4) in the first half, 21-7.
