Kevin Federline reveals violent moment behind Britney Spears marriage collapse: We ‘were never the same’

That’s toxic.
Kevin Federline’s marriage to Britney Spears was “never the same after” the singer “slapped” him in the face during an argument, he claims in his new bombshell memoir, “You Thought You Knew.”
The former backup dancer claims, in an excerpt obtained by Us Weekly, that the Princess of Pop went on a “rampage” after Federline’s pal dropped marijuana off at their home.
He alleges the Grammy winner got physical with him while holding one of their sons.
While the outlet did not reveal when the alleged altercation took place, the former couple welcomed Sean Preston and Jayden, respectively, in 2005 and 2006, calling it quits when their youngest was a month old.
Federline, whose divorce from Spears was finalized in 2007, writes that the slap “wouldn’t be the last time” things turned violent between them.
The 47-year-old’s book, out Oct. 21, also details the “final straw” that led to the exes calling it quits.
Federline claims he walked in on Spears “snorting a fat line of coke off the table” with an actress during his album release party.
When Federline urged his then-partner not to breastfeed their little ones after the alleged drug use — as the National Library of Medicine recommends an “abstinence period of 24 hours” from nursing post-cocaine — he claims Spears threw a drink in his face.
“Her reaction. That’s what ended us,” he tells readers, adding that their subsequent divorce proceedings “happened so fast” he “couldn’t even catch [his] breath.”
Federline makes numerous bombshell accusations in “You Thought You Knew,” from Spears allegedly drinking “half a bottle, if not more” of wine during one of her pregnancies to her cheating on him with a female backup dancer.
He also wrote that Sean Preston and Jayden once woke up to their mom watching them sleep with a “knife in her hand.”
Spears’ rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment regarding the alleged slap — but has hit back at the tell-all in general.
“He and others are profiting off her,” the spokesperson told us Wednesday. “Sadly, it comes after child support has ended with Kevin.”
Spears, similarly, called the book “white lies” via social media — and slammed Federline’s “constant gaslighting” as “extremely hurtful and exhausting.”
