Haunting photos show destruction caused at Michigan synagogue by Hezbollah-linked terrorist

Chilling images released Thursday show the destruction caused by the Hezbollah-linked terrorist who rammed his explosive-filled vehicle into the Michigan synagogue last week.
A hallway leading up to the early childhood center at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield was completely destroyed with the walls lined with class photos and floors charred, according to photos released by the synagogue.
Another photo shows unattended snacks on little tables that pre-K tots were presumably eating when Ayman Ghazali launched the sickening attack.
Temple Israel wrote on Facebook that it resisted sharing photos of the devastation following last Thursday’s attack but changed course when several videos and photos were published, “which have caused considerable harm to the survivors of last week’s attack.”
None of the 140 staffers and children inside were injured when Ghazali plowed into the place of worship and drove into a hallway inside the building, where a gunfight broke out between him and armed security officers guarding the temple.
The car’s engine erupted into flames and Ghazali eventually fatally shot himself in the head, authorities said.
The scary scene played out right outside the door to the early childhood center, according to the photos posted online.
Ghazali became a US citizen in 2016 after he first entered the US in 2011 from Lebanon.
His attack came days after family members in his home country were killed in an airstrike, with the Israel Defense Forces stating at least one of his brothers was a member of Hezbollah.
The synagogue’s director of security was injured, but Temple Israel officials said he is recovering.
The religious institution is now raising money to repair the wreckage caused by Ghazali and assist the victims of the scary assault.
“Temple Israel was targeted. Our people were ready,” the synagogue said on its website.
“They protected our children with courage, training, and extraordinary strength.”
