Teyana Taylor is addressing her fight with a security guard at the 2026 Oscars.

“I think the first thing people do is definitely make assumptions, but at the end of the day, I just don’t tolerate disrespect, especially when it’s unwarranted and it’s unprovoked,” the actress told TMZ Sunday night, after footage of the altercation went viral on social media.

The “One Battle After Another” star said that “there’s nothing to wonder” about the incident, which occurred after the film won best picture at the end of the show.

“It’s all good. Everybody’s having a good time and security was just doing a lot,” she explained. “There’s always that one. But everything’s fine. I’m happy.”

A source who witnessed the incident told Variety that the fight broke out after the “One Battle After Another” cast and crew and Warner Bros. film bosses Pam Abdy and Mike DeLuca were trying to get on stage for a group photo.

“Teyana came down to get Pam, and when she went to go back up, there was a security guard who forcibly stopped them from going back to the stage and put his hands on Teyana,” the insider claimed.

The security guard allegedly told Taylor, “You owe me an apology,” which made her “even more upset.”

Security Industry Specialists, Inc apologized for the incident in a statement to Variety.

“Our security personnel were working to manage a crowded area and ensure the safety of all guests. During that interaction, there was incidental contact and we regret that the situation escalated,” the company said.

“This is not the standard of professionalism we expect from our team, and we have addressed the matter internally to help ensure situations like this do not happen again.”

Page Six has reached out to Taylor’s rep for comment.

Taylor was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in “One Battle After Another,” but the award went to “Weapons” star Amy Madigan.

However, she got to celebrate on stage later in the night when the movie was named best picture, beating out “Sinners,” “Hamnet,” “Marty Supreme” and six other films.

Taylor playfully put director Paul Thomas Anderson in a headlock after the final award of the night was called.
